This position will report directly to the General Sales Manager and will be responsible to manage an existing base of accounts while targeting new accounts while managing multiple distribution channels. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering 5 + years (minimum) of manufacturing / industrial sales experience (power generation or process industries is a plus) Manufacturing shop experience as part of background with metal welding involved is a plus Proven record of sales and account management experience Willingness to travel (25%) as may be needed nationally and internationally calling on customers and working closely with company's established representative network.

Responsibilities: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies stocked in establishment Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer. Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost. Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages. Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items. Stocks and issues materials or merchandise. Reviews requisitions. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Prepares purchase orders or bid requests. Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Approves invoices for payment. Expedites delivery of goods to users. Requirements: A 2 year degree or higher is required Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is required Industrial parts experience is a plus

Inventory Planner This is a long term contract assignment (12-24 months) Our client is seeking to add an Inventory Planner to their staff to be responsible for all product inventory functions from product introduction to product phase out and all overall corporate service associated inventory levels. Analyze inventory and provide inventory management skills to established goals. Assist in Oracle implementation. Responsibilities Analyze inventory to achieve customer satisfaction, while making maximum use of inventory investment. Involvement with Service Product Management to determine stocking levels for new products and engineering changes on existing products. Initiate requisitions for new material purchases. Analyze parts for trends and set/reset reorder parameters to achieve best use of inventory investment. Work with suppliers to schedule/reschedule parts deliveries and repairs. Monitor suppliers with purchasing to insure acceptable supplier pricing and performance. Work with Territory Managers to insure proper utilization of field inventory and on any emergency parts requirements. Work with Product Management in regards to any FCO's, ECN's and other changes to the product. Establish forecasts to manufacturing, suppliers and Repair Shop. Work with all organizations to obtain forecasts of requirements. Initiate scrap plan for obsolete products. Work with Quality Control to disposition discrepant materials and improve supplier quality. Coordinate service product levels between Product Management and Service Analysts. Establish forecasts of future stocking levels of inventory. Qualifications Bachelors degree is required Inventory management experience is a must Oracle experience is a plus APICS certification is a plus
